Tinder is one of the most popular dating apps today with over 57 million active users worldwide. If there’s one dating app that everyone is familiar with, it’s Tinder, and it’s popularity has made it a large part of popular culture. It’s a relatively easy app to use since all users need to do is swipe through people in their area.
It’s an easy app. Swipe left when you’re disinterested and right when you’re interested. The ease that users experience while getting a match is one of the reasons why Tinder is such a popular app; however, just swiping right or left and sending messages is just a small fraction of what Tinder offers users.
Tinder Gold and Tinder Plus
Tinder Gold and Tinder Plus are the Premium tiers that Tinder users can pay for if they’re interested. If you purchase Tinder Plus, you can have unlimited likes, 5 Super Likes per day, 1 boost, the ability to swipe around the world, no ads, and a rewind feature.
Tinder Gold gives users all of those same features, but you can also have access to who likes you on the app and see your Top Picks, or people who have the greatest potential to like you. These features will cost you a monthly fee, but if you use Tinder a lot, then these features might be worth it.
Canceling These Premium Features
If the premium features are no longer for you, then you can easily cancel them. You can cancel both of these features from your phone by following these directions:
1. First, go into the store that you downloaded the app from.
2. Once you enter those stores, you can navigate to where your Subscriptions are listed.
3. Cancel the subscription in the Subscription section of your app store with just a single tap.
You can also cancel these features by navigating to the Tinder website.
1. Log into your Tinder Account.
2. At the top left side of the screen, select “My Profile” and you’ll be taken to your profile settings.
3. Click “Manage Account” in the list of options.
4. Select Cancel. You can also select “Disable Auto-Renew”
You’re probably wondering if you can get a refund after these features have already auto-renewed. The answer isn’t a simple yes or no answer.
Tinder might give you a refund if you request a refund within fourteen days of when the transaction took place. This means that you might receive a refund if you look at your auto-renew date and request a refund within fourteen days of when that occurred. Any more than fourteen days and Tinder won’t give you a refund. However, those fourteen days doesn’t automatically mean that Tinder will issue you a refund. It just means that Tinder will be more likely to give you a refund within those 14 days.
However, this might be dependent on where you live. For example, in California in the United States, Tinder users can cancel their subscription without any penalty up into; the third business day following the subscription. You might want to look into Tinder’s refund policy to see if there’s an exception to the rule that might benefit you while you’re requesting a refund. If you’re unsure of how to proceed, you can submit a refund request to Tinder on their website.
