AceStream is a cool application for streaming live IPTV and sports events as well as other types of entertainment. The AceStream software allows for an unlimited, hassle-free type of live content streaming that has become a favorite for sports fans.
Many of the sporting events on Ace Stream aren’t on YouTube streams. This tutorial will show you how to use AceStream to watch live sports events on your TV.
Note: AceStream is available for Windows or Android systems.
What is AceStream
AceStream is a multimedia platform that enables the user to stream media from a peer-to-peer infrastructure. When you stream with Ace Stream you share the content with others. AceStream is one of the only video streaming applications left that do not require that subscribe to watch its content. All you have to do is download the app and install it, enter an ID and stream.
How to Use AceStream
To get the AceStream app to use on your Windows, android device or mac, got to acestream.org:
1. Select AceStream Media X.X (Win)
2. Select Ace Stream Media X.x (vlc x.x.x)
3. Download the Ace Stream file
4. After the download, install Ace Stream and run it
5. Read the Licensing Agreement for Ace Stream and select I Accept if you agree to the terms
6. Choose Next
7. Select the components you want to install and choose Next
8. Choose the drive for your installation and then select Install
9. Uncheck the Visit Ace Stream website and test the installed software option and select Finish (unless you want to run tests on the install). When you are presented with download options during the process, select the version with the highest version number. Also, you can disable the Chrome extension or completely uninstall it.
The install will actually consist of two applications: Ace Stream Media Center and Ace Player. You will use the Ace Player to launch your streaming media and watch it.
Using AceStream on PC or Mac:
After you’ve found your desired Content ID, the last step is using your desired media player program. First, open the ‘Ace Player’ application.
This app is based off of the VLC media player, so if you are familiar with this program you will find this very easy to use. If you are unfamiliar, here’s how.
In order to view your desired stream, open the Ace Player and click on ‘Media’. Next, click on ‘Open Ace Stream Content ID’ – you’ll now be prompted to enter the content ID. Enter your code and simply click Play.
It may take a moment for your stream to load, but when it is ready it will start playing automatically.
Tip: All content IDs may not look the same! For example if, you come across an Ace Stream URL starting with acestream://, this will work as well. Copy this link, and instead of clicking on Open Ace Stream Content ID, click on ‘Open Network Stream’ and enter the entire URL. Now you can enjoy your desired content. Have fun!
Use Ace Stream on Your Android
You can watch Ace Stream live sports events on your Windows tablet or android phone. (Make sure your android phone is connected to the Internet by a strong WiFi connection so as not to use up all of your data.)
First, download a compatible video player (VLC) to your phone along with the ace Stream Engine. Then follow these steps:
1. Launch Ace Stream Engine
2. Select the : icon and then select Enter Content ID
3. Type your Content ID and then select OK.
4. Choose a video player to stream the videos and select the Remember Choice option to set the video player as the default.
The Ace Player should connect to peers, begin to buffer, and then play the video selection. You may be asked if you want to allow the video player to access your photos or other personal files. If so, select Allow. If you select Deny, the video player will not stream your videos.
Note: Ace Stream uses massive amounts of data to stream from your phone. Use WiFi when streaming from your android phone to stop Ace Stream from using your data to stream.
Use AceStream for Amazon Firestick
Another device that supports AceStream is the Amazon Firestick. Now you can watch your favorite sports on the big screen, as long as your internet connection is stable enough to watch without interruptions. Here’s how!
1. On your Firestick home screen, go to your ‘Settings’. Choose ‘My Fire TV’
2. Now, navigate to ‘Developer Options’. This may seem daunting, but don’t worry; it’s just as simple as it is on every other platform and nothing here has the ability to break your Firestick or tv.
3. In Developer Options, turn on the ‘ABD debugging’ as well as ‘Apps from Unknown Sources’.
4. Head back to Home and go to Search, located in the Top-left corner of your screen.
5. In the search bar, enter ‘Ace Stream LiveTV’. You will be shown some suggestions, but make sure you only download ‘Ace Stream LiveTV’ from the list.
6. Click on ‘Get’ or ‘Download’ (You will only see the Download button if you have downloaded this application in the past, otherwise it will say ‘Get’).
7. Wait for the download to finish and select Open to launch the Ace Stream LiveTV app.
Now, like on every other platform, you can enter your Content ID or URL and enjoy your free content!
Use Optimal Ace Stream Settings
Use optimal settings for Ace Stream rather than the default to minimize the number of problems with the install.
1. Right click on the Ace Stream icon and go to Ace Stream HD Options:
As you can see in the screenshot, the Start with sufficient speed only option is checked. However, you do not need to enable this option. Keep the first three options unchecked:
- Play entertaining videos while prebuffering
- Start with sufficient speed only
- Automatically determine download limit
2. For your Live Buffer, use VOD buffer s:10 and Live Buffer s:30. Set both the Download and Upload limits to 0. Also, set the Disk cache limit to GB:3 and cache drive option to c.
3. You can change your Login and password to ‘blank’ so that it is not required when you use the application.
4. Select Apply to save the changes to your settings.
5. Go to Advanced and change your default settings for the port and connections. Set the Port to :8621, Total max connects to :400, and Max connects per stream to :100. (The Total max connects allows you to limit the number of peers that you want to connect with using Ace Stream.) Open the port on your router. At :100 connects you can watch up to 4 streams simultaneously.
AceSTREAM Content IDs
After installing the program, you may be confused about where to go next, but worry not! Ace Stream is peer-to-peer, meaning to watch something, you’ll need the relevant streaming URL or content ID.
Ace Stream uses Content IDs to identify the users who search for content and download it. The Content ID is a long string of alpha and numeric characters to connect the user to the video content.
You can gain access to a Content ID by conducting a search in your browser for an ID associated with a sport. For example, you can use your search engine to search for Ace Stream Content ID football. Or you can search for the ID for a specific sports event.
You can also use subreddits to locate curated Ace Stream Content IDs. Use one of these popular sports reddits to find your content ID:
- r/soccerstreams ( soccer or futbol events)
- r/puckstreams (hockey events)
- r/NFLstreams (football events)
- r/MLBstreams (baseball events
- r/CFBstreams (college football events)
- r/MMAstreams (karate/martial arts events)
- r/NCAAbbstreams (college footbal events)
Most of these reddits have already been verified by another user. After the update is complete, your Apple TV should restart automatically. Check to see if your Apple TV apps have been restored.
Note: Supported apps in Apple TV are not available in every country or region. The apps are supported predominately in the United States and Europe.
How to Find Streams
To easily find streams, Google is your best friend. For example, if you are looking for the latest basketball game, you’ll search something like “AceStream content ID basketball”.
Reddit is a good website to find your desired stream ID for any type of sport. There are also websites like https://v2.sportsurge.net/, https://acestreamsearch.net/, or https://acestreamid.com/.

How to Watch Free Sports Events
Users love Ace Stream because it allows you to watch live sporting events that naturally would be too congested to buffer on your device. Watch videos from Ace Stream by launching the application.
1. Select Media.
2. Click Open Ace Stream Content ID
3. Enter your Content ID and select Play:
If your URL begins with acestream:// rather than a content ID:
4. Go to Media > Open Network Stream and paste the URL.
The Ace Player should connect to peers, begin to buffer, and then play the video selection. To launch the Ace Stream application in Windows 10, type Ace Player and press Enter. You should be able to stream the Ace Stream video content using your device.
AceStream Buffering? Try These Fixes
Your streams could be interrupted with buffering; below are some possible fixes.
- Your Internet Connection is Unstable
- Enable ‘UPnP’ on your Router settings.
- Change your Buffer time to 30 seconds.
- Try downgrading the video quality.
- Keep Download and Upload limits to “0”.
- In the ‘advanced’ tab, set the port to “8621”.
Casting AceStream
Cast Ace Stream from a Tablet or Phone to TV
You may use this option if your are using technology such as Apple TV or Chromecast on your TV. When you go to cast Ace Stream, your option will show up as a video player option when the Content is entered.
If you select Apple TV or Chromecast, Ace Stream will channel the video stream to your device. When the streaming begins, select the remote icon to control the stream playback.
Cast Ace Stream with Kodi
Ace Stream will also allow Kodi home theater software as an add on to the video streaming on your TV. You may use Ace Stream Content IDs directly in Kodi. Ace Stream will improve the quality of the streaming of live events in Kodi.
Note: Ace Stream is a torrent feed application which means it poses risks to the integrity of your device. Your streaming content can be seen by others as well as information about your connection.
When using Kodi, you should use a VPN to conceal your connection and increase security. Run antivirus software when using Ace Stream and consider uninstalling it when you will not be using it for a while.
