To fix this on your Macbook:

  • Press and hold Shift-Control-Option keys and the power button
  • Release all the button
  • Turn on the Mac

If you have an old Mac:

  1. Switch off your Mac
  2. Make sure it isn’t connected
  3. Remove the battery
  4. Press and hold the power button for a few seconds
  5. Put the battery back in
  6. Charge your Mac
  7. Turn it on

For Mac Pro, iMac and Mac mini:

  1. Turn off your Mac

  3. Wait 15 seconds
  4. Connect the power
  5. Wait five seconds
  6. Turn on your computer
