How To Schedule Gmail to Send Messages Later

Printing an email can bring about a bit of confusion. Maybe you received a list through Gmail that you need to print or maybe there was a beautiful email that you received that you want to hang up in your room.

Although you may be quick to print an email, you have to be mindful of the threads, especially since Gmail threads can be up to one hundred related messages long. Below, you will find directions on how to print the emails that you want to keep, whether you need the whole thread or a single email.

Single Email

  1. Open Gmail in your web browser on your device. When you open Gmail on your device, you will see all of the recent emails that you have received.

2. Open the email that you would like to print. It should expand on your screen to its full size.

3. After you open the email that you want to print, you will see a number of icons at the top of the email. Look at the subject line of the message, which is in larger font above the sender’s email at the top left corner of the white message box on the screen. To the right of that in the corner is a small icon that resembles a printer. Click on it.

4. You will now be taken to the printer screen on your device. Look at the sample of what will be printed that is given to you towards the right of the screen. If all is correct, you can click the blue print button on the upper left part of the screen.

Whole Thread

1. Open Gmail in your web browser on your device. When you open Gmail on your device, you will see all of the recent emails that you have received.

2. Open the email that you would like to print. It should expand on your screen to its full size.

3. Since your email has threads, you will need to click on every message to make sure that it appears when you print it.

4. After you open each message in the thread, you will see a number of icons at the top of the email. Look at the subject line of the message, which is in larger font above the sender’s email at the top left corner of the white message box on the screen. To the right of that in the corner is a small icon that resembles a printer. Click on it.

5. You will now be taken to the printer screen on your device. Look at the sample of what will be printed that is given to you towards the right of the screen. If all is correct, you can click the blue print button on the upper left part of the screen.
