1. Switch off the 3D Touch

The 3D Touch feature in latest iPhone models (iPhone XS, iPhone XR, XS Max, X, iPhone 8, Plus, iPhone 7) triggers different options when you try to tap-hold on the screen. The idea behind the introduction of 3D touch is to make iPhones pressure sensitive. Many iPhone users aren’t happy with this change so here is how you can disable the 3D touch on your iPhone:

1. Go to the Settings of your iPhone.

2. Tap on the General option.

3. Then tap the Accessibility.

4. Tap on the 3D touch.

5. Toggle it to Off.

6. Exit Settings, now try the tap-hold method to save pictures from Google.

This 3D Touch feature is not available in iPhone 5s, 5c, 5, 4s, or 4. They still operate like before.

2. Saving Pictures Without Switching 3D Touch Off

If you don’t want to switch off this latest feature and still like to save photos from google then it is possible too. All you would have to do is to put very minimal thumb pressure on the image and it will work like before.

Moreover, Apple also allows you to adjust 3D Touch pressure sensitivity on the iPhone. There are three options to choose, Light, Medium, and Firm. Light sensitivity reduces the amount of pressure required while Firm Sensitivity increases it. The Medium Sensitivity is in between the two.

3. Adjusting 3D Touch Sensitivity

1. Go to Settings.

2. Tap on the General

3. Then tap on the Accessibility

4. Find 3D Touch option and tap on it.

5. Now adjust the sensitivity to Firm as it will allow you to save photos easily.
