In this article, we have provided you with a detailed guide on all the possible scenarios and methods for forwarding calls without having the phone you are forwarding from.

1. Using the Carriers Website

Some carriers offer the opportunity to manage your devices using their website. On the website you can forward calls, block calls, and so on.

This is very important because you may find yourself in a situation where you do not have access to a phone and need to quickly activate call forwarding. Or, you may actually have access to a phone but there is no carrier reception on the phone, but you have WIFI access.

In these cases, you could log into the website of your phone carrier using a PC or phone with internet access, and activate call forwarding. This is as long as you have all the required details needed to prove your identity. We will provide steps to activate call forwarding on the websites of major phone carriers.

2. Using the Carrier’s App

An alternative to using the carrier’s website is using the mobile app to activate call forwarding remotely on your phone.

The method to activate this varies across carriers. However, some carriers who offer web management do not offer management on mobile apps.

The method to activate call forwarding on apps is basically the same as on the websites, so you can use any one of them depending on what device you have access to.
