Finding the IP address for your Amazon Fire TV is a very easy journey, provided you have a remote to navigate the menu. If you don’t have a physical remote, you can use a mobile device to navigate the menu instead by installing the Amazon Fire TV application. You can download it for Android devices, iOS devices and Kindle Fire.

Let’s get started by:

1. Powering on your Amazon Fire TV, if it isn’t turned on already.

Finding the IP address for an Amazon Fire TV that’s version 5.2.2.0 and below isn’t too different than modern versions, though there are a few slight variations, the main difference being the interface itself. With that being said, here’s what you do:

1. Power on your Amazon Fire TV, if it isn’t already turned on.

2. On the home screen, make your way down the menu on the left hand side to the bottom. Highlight Settings. With Settings highlighted, use the remote to move to the right to explore the options.

4. Under About, make your way down to Network and highlight it. On the right hand side you’ll see your IP Address listed, as well as:
