What Games Come Free with Oculus Quest 2?

Free Game Demos on Quest 2

Beat Saber, Creed, Journey of the Gods, Space Pirate Trainer, Dance Central, and Sports Scramble all come pre-installed on Quest 2 in demo version. A demo version means that the features and levels of the game you have access to are restricted. You are allowed just enough permissions to get a hang of the game and see if it’s to your liking.

Beat Saber – Beat Saber is a virtual reality game based on rhythm: you need steady hands and quick response to slash the cubes (called beats) as they come at you.

You need to avoid obstacles, use the correct Saber for slashing each beat, and move in the direction indicated for each beat as well. By the time you get into the game proper, you will find yourself pseudo-dancing while enjoying an exhilarating experience.

Journey of the Gods – If you love stories about gods and space odysseys, then you will love Journey to the Gods. The game depicts a scenario where a chaos moon of darkness is approaching the land you inhabit. You need to unlock the full powers of the gods to help save your land from the coming doom.

You get a chance to play hero, explore a cinematic world that gives Star Trek a run for the money, battle monsters and do some brain work in solving ancient mysteries.

Space Pirate Trainer DX – Why be a sea pirate when you can take your pillaging to Space? Space Pirate Trainer DX is meant to train you for just that. You’ll get to play hide and seek with droids and fight them off with sophisticated weapons, which makes it unclear whether you’re the good or bad one, hein?

With a new multiplayer mode called Versus, you get to test yourself against other gamers to see who comes out as the top pirate in the skies.

Dance Central – Want to perfect your dance moves or compete with others to show you’ve got the best moves? Then Dance Central is for you. With a 32-song soundtrack and music from across several decades, Dance Central allows users to practice different dance moves whether alone, in co-op or in competition.

It also features a lounge in multiplayer mode where you get to meet up with friends, party, chat and dance till you drop.

Sports Scramble – Sports Scramble allows you to use equipment for one sport in another sport. Say, use a Basketball to bowl or strike a golf ball with a Hockey stick. It’s fun, it’s goofy, it’s random. You can play in single, training, quick play or challenge modes.

Creed: Rise to Glory – This game allows you to challenge your mind and body as you build yourself from a unknown boxer into a world-renowned boxing champion.

You can play career mode, player vs player, training, or Freeplay. And if you feel adventurous enough, you could try Feel the Impact which allows you to give and receive real-life effects of thrown punches.

Remember that all of the games above come in demo version so you only get a decent glimpse at what they have to offer before you purchase.

But it’s guaranteed to be great fun with three modes available for your play:

Classic: Where you and the people you are playing with can take a normal ride on the roller coasters
