How to Save Pictures from Facebook to iPhone

Copying video links from Facebook to share amongst your friends is one of the key methods of spreading the word on a video. It’s just how videos and images go viral. And, to make things easy, all it takes is a few taps of your finger or a few clicks of your mouse to copy a video link from Facebook and share it on your own page.

via Desktop

1. Locate and launch your favorite web browser. Any will do.

It’s highly recommended you move on with these steps while using a safe and secure network connection. Since you’re working with sensitive information (your Facebook account), using a public network connection is risky business.

2. Head over to Facebook’s home page and log into Facebook, if you aren’t already logged in.

3. Locate the post that contains the video you want the video link for. You can check your News Feed, profile pages (or your own) or a group page and or Facebook page.

Checking your News Feed for the post that contains the video you want the video link for can take quite a bit of time.

Instead, clicking Watch at the top left corner of the web page (while you’re on your News Feed) will list all the videos that were shared from various pages you follow, if you were looking for a particularly obscure video.

select the menu

4. When you’ve found the post, and the video, look at the top right corner of the post. You’ll see three horizontal dots. Click it. It will produce a drop down menu.

5. In the drop down menu, click Copy link. Now you’re free to paste it anywhere you want.

via Android

1. Locate and launch the Facebook app. You can find it on one of your home screens or in your App Drawer where all currently installed apps are housed.

2. Log into Facebook, if you aren’t already logged in.

3. Locate the post that contains the video on Facebook you want the video link for. You can look anywhere, on your profile page and other profile pages, your News Feed, groups and even other pages.

If you were looking for a more obscure video, by tapping Watch at the top, you can open a list of videos that were posted by friends, family, pages, and you. Its icon looks like a TV with the play button on the screen.

4. When you’ve found the post that has the video link you want, look to the top right corner of the post. You’ll see three small, horizontal dots. Tap it with your finger. It will open a menu.

click Copy link

5. At the bottom of the menu, tap Copy link. You can post the link anywhere you want.

via iOS

1. Locate and launch the Facebook app. You’ll find it on one of your home screens. iOS devices do not have an App Drawer like Android devices do.

2. Log into Facebook, if you aren’t already logged in.

3. On your News Feed, groups, pages, profile pages (even your own), look for the post that has the video you have a desire to grab the video link for.

Or, alternatively, you can always tap on Watch. It’s at the bottom of the screen. Its icon resembles a TV with a play button on its screen. This will present you with a list of videos that were shared and posted from friends and pages alike.

select Share > copy link

4. Select the video so that it plays. Afterwards, select Share.

5. When the menu appears, select Copy link.

Copying an External Video Link from Facebook

Copying an external video link on a computer is as easy as selecting the video preview and copying the URL at the top of your browser. As for iOS and Android devices, it takes an extra step. Here’s what you do:

1. The links to video previews aren’t always available. First, you have to select the video preview. It will redirect you to the original site, like YouTube.

2. At the top right corner of the screen, there’s three horizontal dots. Select it to open a drop down menu.

3. In the drop down menu, select Copy link.
